And this time we could see it very vividly because Nils had climbed up the mast and fixed the wind direction sensor. Apparently there was some salt water that got into the sensor and was preventing it from working. I’m hardly an expert, but to my logic brand new marine equipment should have some water resistance, shouldn’t it?
These conditions called for a day full of movies and some fixing – the boys made sure the heating was ready for the North Atlantic frost and placed Nils’ half-dead phone in the engine to dry out. Let’s see tomorrow if it works!
Also, the fishing line got tangled in the plotter again. One more time, Piotrek miraculously recovered it.
